The Backstory: How My Business Mantra, "There's DEPTH to you," Came to Life

It all began during a session with my therapist, Jasmin—shoutout to Jas! I was venting, yet again, about the promotion that seemed endlessly delayed. I felt like I needed that title change and, of course, the salary increase to feel validated. As we unpacked my feelings around waiting, my attachment to external validation, and the powers that be who would ultimately approve my promotion, I realized something profound: I was allowing this pending decision to define my worth, not just in my career, but in my life.

Then, I recalled an event from the previous week. During a team gathering, each person was asked to submit a fun fact about themselves that no one else knew. In that moment, I could only think of one thing—I had been certified as a Life Coach five years ago. Without realizing it, that simple fact would propel me into my pivot.

Oh, and yes—my long-awaited promotion was finally announced. But that announcement didn’t create the emotional waves I expected. Instead, the real shift happened when I publicly acknowledged that I was a certified Life Coach. I wasn’t surprised by my reaction—I knew, deep down, that this moment was more significant than any job title.

As the event wrapped up, my colleagues shared their thoughts, some surprised to learn about my certification. The encouragement was reassuring, but what struck me most was my own reaction. For five years, I had kept that truth hidden, not out of indifference, but out of fear.

Fast forward to my next therapy session, where I told Jasmin everything. Even she had no idea I had achieved this milestone years ago. As I recounted the event, my promotion, and that single fun fact, we both felt something unexplainable, almost as if a divine presence had entered our conversation. It was magical.

I told Jasmin that sharing my truth liberated a part of me I had been suppressing—the part that was afraid to be truly seen. I admitted that I had felt stuck for years, believing that my worth depended on a job title and a paycheck. But then, in a moment of clarity, I said the words that would change everything:

"There's depth to me."

And just like that, everything shifted. That statement—those four words—marked my liberation. They became the foundation of my mantra, my mission, and ultimately, the new version of myself that was born that day.

Please let this serve as a reminder, you are more than the world tells you to be. More than labels, expectations, or fleeting moments that try to define you. I would like for you to recognize, within you exists infinite depth—a universe of experiences, dreams, strengths, and untapped potential.

Too often, we shrink ourselves to fit into boxes that others have built for us. We silence parts of ourselves that feel too different, too complex, too much. But true growth—the kind that transforms lives—happens when you embrace your whole self.

You are layered, intricate, beautifully multifaceted. You are not meant to be understood at a glance or reduced to a single dimension. Every passion, every challenge, every piece of your story adds to the richness of who you are. And that depth is your superpower.

My mission is to not only help you celebrate that power, but SHOW you that power—to remind you that your complexity is your strength, not a limitation. When you step fully into yourself, you step into possibility. For the purpose. Into a life that feels true to you, not to the world's expectations.

So take up space. Explore every layer of yourself. Stand in your brilliance. Because There’s Depth to You—and the world is waiting for all that you are.

There's Depth to all of US.

Love,

Stephanie
